Placing an order.

When you place an order on thebagmark.co.uk, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your basket at the prices displayed.

Your order is not confirmed until you receive an order confirmation email from us. This email constitutes our acceptance of your order and forms the contract between us.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion — for example, if a product is out of stock, if there is an error in the price displayed, or if we suspect fraudulent activity. If we cancel your order after payment has been taken, we will issue a full refund promptly.

By placing an order, you confirm that all information you provide — including your name, delivery address, and payment details — is accurate and complete.


Prices and payment.

All prices on thebagmark.co.uk are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

Payment is taken at the time of placing your order. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout — including major debit and credit cards and Shopify Payments. All transactions are processed securely. We do not store your card details.

If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or system error, we are not obliged to honour that price and may cancel the order with a full refund.


Delivery.

We aim to dispatch all orders within one to two working days of confirmation. Delivery times and costs are as follows:

Standard UK delivery — free on all orders, estimated 3 to 5 working days. Express UK delivery — £6.95, estimated 1 to 2 working days. International delivery — costs and timescales are calculated at checkout.

Delivery estimates are based on working days. We are not responsible for delays caused by the courier, customs, or circumstances outside our control. Risk of loss and title to products passes to you upon delivery.

If your order does not arrive within the estimated timeframe, contact us at hello@thebagmark.co.uk and we will investigate with the courier on your behalf.

For international orders, you are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs charges applicable in your country. These are not included in your order total.


Returns and refunds.

We accept returns within 28 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition, and returned in the original Bagmark dust bag and packaging.

To start a return, email hello@thebagmark.co.uk with your order number. We will confirm your return and provide the return address within one working day. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or was sent in error.

Refunds are processed within 5 to 7 working days of receiving your return and are issued to the original payment method.

Your statutory rights under UK consumer law are not affected by this policy.


Faulty or incorrect items.

If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, email us at hello@thebagmark.co.uk within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and a photograph of the issue.

We will arrange a replacement or full refund and cover all return postage costs in this case.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the right to a repair, replacement, or refund for goods that are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose. This policy does not limit those rights.


Product descriptions.

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, and specifications on our website are accurate. However, we cannot guarantee that product colours will appear exactly as shown on your screen — colour accuracy depends on your device's display settings.

Product dimensions and specifications are provided as a guide. Minor variations may occur between individual products due to the nature of the materials used.

We reserve the right to update product descriptions, images, and specifications at any time without notice.


Intellectual property.

All content on thebagmark.co.uk — including but not limited to the Bagmark name, logo, wordmark, product names, photography, copy, and design — is the intellectual property of The Bagmark and is protected under UK and international copyright and trademark law.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, download, post, broadcast, transmit, or use any content from our website in any way without our prior written permission, except for your own personal, non-commercial use.

Limitation of liability.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Bagmark shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of our website or products — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that order.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

Our website may contain links to third party websites including bookshops, publishers, and other brands referenced in our editorial content. These links are provided for your convenience only.
